The vast majority of our patients choose silicone MemoryShape® breast implants or silicone MemoryGel® breast implants in Arizona, but some of our patients prefer to have saline breast implants. Saline breast implants have some advantages over silicone which primarily involve flexible fill. The ability to fill the breast implant to the specific requirements and establish symmetry is critically important for some patients. In other words, while silicone breast implants have been designed for a fixed volume 25cc apart, saline breast implants can be filled by 1cc increments until a more ideal symmetry is established. For better symmetry, saline might serve some patients better.
